Kelsey Wapinsky

Owner/Artistic Director

Miss Kelsey’s love for dance started at 3 years old. Her passion lead her into the doors of her local dance studio, where her love for dance only grew. Throughout her teenage years, she continued dancing at her studio while attending the Lehigh Valley School for the Arts as a Dance Major. During her time there, she began student teaching and choreographing.

Kelsey went on to attend and then later graduate from Adelphi University in New York with her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance. During her time there she studied under a multitude of remarkable members of the dance community including, Frank Augustyn, Canadian Ballet master; Flavio Salazar, American Ballet Theatre Educator & Dancer; Orion Duckstein, Paul Taylor Dance Company member; Amy Marshall, dancer and founder of Amy Marshall Dance Company, and many more.

She was hand selected through audition to intern at the world renowned Broadway Dance Center in Manhattan, New York. While there she was able to immerse herself in programs led by Sheila Barker, Ashlé Dawson, Derrick Mitchell, Ginger Cox, Eric Jenkins, and many more!

In addition to her lengthy education in Dance, Kelsey had a number of performance opportunities. She was able to perform as leading roles such as Snow Queen in “The Nutcracker Suite” a full length ballet. She was also fortunate to perform number of pieces throughout her time in New York, including but not limited too, “Unknown” by Kim Thompson, LA Contemporary Company Member, “Air” by Larry Keigwin, Keigwin & Co, “Mind The Gap” by Emily Schoen, Schoen Movement Company, “Consumed” by Orion Duckstien, former PTDC member, and afro fusion works by Ashlé Dawson in the Broadway Dance Center Summer Showcase.

Kelsey found her love for educating young dancers and choreographing for them while in college. She has been teaching the youth for 10 years and has led many of her students to win high level awards and overall titles in regional & national competitions.
